Finance & Accounting Manager, Geneva

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to join our Geneva office (entry date to be discussed, ideally 1 October 2022).

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your main assignments and tasks will include:

  • Carrying out daily and periodic accounting work related to the preparation of financial records, incl. recording of book entries, handling payments, controlling of cost allocation, preparation of the annual and quarterly financial statements;
  • Assisting in the monitoring of liquidities;
  • Participating in the budgeting process, regular monitoring of the budget and financial forecasts;
  • Managing an accounting assistant and a team of billing assistants responsible for account receivables (billing and collection), financial and activity reporting, and some bookkeeping;
  • Payroll administration from managing monthly salary statements and payments to performing monthly and annual reports to social insurances, audit preparation;
  • Performing regular and/or on-demand costs analysis, incl. cost development by means of statistics and graphs;
  • Ensuring the correct and comprehensive data import of the various interfaces into the accounting software;
  • Participating and assisting with the new ERP system implementation;
  • Developing standards, internal controls and guidelines for accounting.

We are looking for candidates to meet the following criteria:

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance, or equivalent;
  • You have 5-6 years or more of related experience, incl. in supervision / team management;
  • You are a native French speaker, with a very good command of English - B2+/C1 level is required – any additional language is an asset;
  • You have strong organizational skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results in a timely manner;
  • You have leadership and team management skills;
  • You work with a high-level of accuracy and meticulousness;
  • You have high computing skills – past experience in a CRM/ERP Implementation is a strong plus.
