ICT Assistant / Systems Specialist

Schellenberg Wittmer is currently looking for an ICT Assistant / Systems Specialist to work in its integrated ICT & Innovation team.

Reporting to the ICT Manager in Geneva, you will mainly work in providing our 110+ users with a first-tier ICT support, taking care of the hardware fleet, participating in employees onboarding and training, and collaborating in various ICT projects.

Your main tasks will be :

  • help and support our 110+ users of our Geneva office, whether remote or on-site, with Microsoft Office Professional tools, Microsoft Windows 10/11, CRM, PMS, DMS, SharePoint, Outlook etc.
  • help and support at the workplace with Internet access, LAN and Wi-Fi network connections, operation of PCs and laptops, iOS and Android peripherals and mobile devices, printers) ;
  • provide 1st level maintenance and troubleshooting for photocopiers and scanners ;
  • take care of 1st, 2nd level helpdesk support and 3rd level (system admin) ;
  • configure and maintain our videoconferencing, audioconferencing and phone systems, virtual environment VMWare, data rooms, DMS (routing scanned documents), Microsoft Cloud Computing ;
  • liaise with our outsourcing partner for advanced support (Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory) and monitor incidents until they have been resolved sustainably ;
  • configure and install new workstations, create user accounts (Active Directory) and manage the necessary access and rights ;
  • maintain and manage the inventory of the hardware fleet including printers, copiers, smartphones and tablets, peripherals ;
  • onboard new employees with trainings and securities procedures ;
  • draw up IT documentation and internal procedures ;
  • assist with various events and setups, including installation of ICT equipment, start-up of conferences etc.) ;
  • assist with the building's access control procedures and programming and updating access badges;
  • participate in ICT and Innovation projects (large deployments and other global and/or strategic projects).

Key skills and Experience required:   

  • Federal Certificate of Proficiency in IT or equivalent qualification ;
  • At least 3 years' experience in Helpdesk level 1 and 2 ;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional and Microsoft Windows 10/11 Professional ;
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory ;
  • French as mother tongue (or at least C1 level) with an excellent level of written and spoken English (B2 minimum) ;
  • You are curious and keen to learn new things ;
  • You are solution-oriented and have a high sense of responsibility with a very good level of autonomy ;
  • You are easy to get on with people and like to work as a team member ;
  • You have a strong sense of service.
