Veysel Oruclar is an associate in our Taxation practice group in Zurich. He advises companies, business families and private individuals on Swiss and international tax law, in particular on reorganizations and financings, on transfer pricing matters and on obtaining advance tax rulings. A second focus of his practice lies in contentious work: he represents clients in assessment and appeal proceedings, in tax criminal proceedings and in international administrative assistance proceedings in tax matters.
As an attorney-at-law and certified tax expert, he combines the tax analysis with the conduct of the ensuing proceedings before the authorities. Before entering private practice, he was a research assistant at the Chair of Tax Law at the University of Lucerne; he lectures on tax law in the tax specialist programme. In addition to German and English, he works in Turkish and regularly handles matters with a Turkish nexus.
