China's request for revision of jurisdictional award in investment treaty arbitration dismissed

In Decision 4A_46/2024, the Swiss Supreme Court dismissed a request for revision of a Permanent Court of Arbitration tribunal's award affirming its jurisdiction to hear a dispute under the China-UK bilateral investment treaty. The court ruled that the evidence proffered by China to overturn the jurisdictional award was either precluded, as China had not demonstrated that it had submitted it in time, or was inadmissible, as the evidence dated from after the award was rendered.
