Schellenberg Wittmer acted as Swiss legal counsel to the joint lead managers in Alphabet's record inaugural CHF 3.055 bn bond issue

BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International, J.P. Morgan Securities and Merrill Lynch International acted as joint lead managers in the successful record inaugural placement in Switzerland of five tranches of bonds issued by Alphabet, Google's parent company, with a total principal amount of CHF 3.055 billion.

Schellenberg Wittmer's team consisted of Philippe Borens (Partner, overall lead), Dominic WälchliYves Ammann (all Capital Markets) as well as Roland Wild (Tax).
