Schellenberg Wittmer advises LokRoll3 AG in acquisition financing of locomotives


Schellenberg Wittmer advised LokRoll3 AG, Lucerne, a locomotives holding company managed by Reichmuth & Co Investment Management AG, in a financing transaction for the acquisition of 35 newly-built Vectron AC locomotives from Siemens Mobility AG. The locomotives, scheduled for delivery in 2024, will be leased to SBB Cargo AG through LokRoll3 AG's asset manager Northrail GmbH for a period of eight years.

Schellenberg Wittmer acted as Swiss legal counsel to LokRoll3 AG and Reichmuth & Co Investment Management AG. The team consisted of Philippe Borens (overall responsibility), Andrea Andelic and Dominic Wälchli (all Banking & Finance), David Mamane and Amalie Wijesundera (all Competition and Antitrust) and Roland Wild (Tax).
