Clara Poglia & Sylvie Bertrand-Curreli Launch WWCDA's Swiss Chapter

White Collar Crime and Compliance associates Clara Poglia and Sylvie-Bertrand have launched the Swiss chapter of the Women's White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA), as Chapter Leader and Chapter Secretary respectively. Schellenberg Wittmer is pleased to have partnered with the WWCDA's Swiss Chapter launch, organized by Clara and Sylvie, by hosting of the event - in its commitment to promoting diversity across the legal profession.

The launch event was attended by over 20 white collar defense women lawyers across Geneva and Zurich with a simultaneous information session followed by a networking apero. The event was also attended by US-based WWCDA co-founder Karen Popp, who presented an overview and background of the association via video conference.

The Swiss Chapter of the WWCDA, is aimed at promoting common business, professional interests and goals of women lawyers in Switzerland specialized in the representation of corporations and individuals facing government enforcement actions (criminal, civil regulatory and administrative), and in internal investigations, compliance and ethics matters. The WWCDA worldwide promotes diversity in the legal profession and is aimed at facilitating networking and business development opportunities for women in the practice.
