Schellenberg Wittmer advises Bemberg Capital on the sale of Swiss private bank Quilvest Switzerland to EFG International

Schellenberg Wittmer is acting as counsel to Bemberg Capital, a Luxemburg-based holding, on the sale to EFG International of 100% of Quilvest (Switzerland) Ltd, a Swiss private bank founded in 1932 by the Bemberg Family and headquartered in Zurich with an established client based in Europe, the Middle-East and Latin America, a strong focus on ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWI) and a long-standing and successful track record in advising on private market investments. The closing of the transaction is expected in the third quarter of 2026 and subject to regulatory approval.

The SW team was led by Tarek Houdrouge (Partner M&A/Banking & Finance) and included Grégoire Tribolet, Délia Badan, Lukaz Samb and Nicola Pantaleo (all M&A/Banking & Finance) and Jean-Frédéric Maraia and Andrea Baratta (both Taxation).
