Leading practitioners in the field discussed the latest developments in international arbitration and in particular the disputes involving commodities. Global developments, the volatility and increase of energy prices have affected the economy profoundly. The LCIA traditionally sees a large number of commodity cases and in 2022 the number of these cases rose to an unprecedented height. Through conversation among the panel and with the audience, this session addressed this development, and what the future has in store for this sector.
