24.06.2021

For the 4th consecutive year, Schellenberg Wittmer is proud to be named Swiss Firm of the Year at the Women in Business Law Awards. Schellenberg Wittmer has also been awarded in the category: "Gender – Diversity, National Firms", which recognizes the top national firm that has advanced diversity in Europe. We are pleased that Caroline Clemetson, Anita Schläpfer, Clara Poglia and Andrea Dorjee-Good were additionally shortlisted in their areas of expertise.

As a leading firm in Switzerland for diversity and inclusion, we are proud to have one of the highest numbers of women in management positions.

Schellenberg Wittmer is committed to respecting and valuing diversity in the workplace, and actively supports and promotes an inclusive working environment. Diversity initiatives and measured targets are continuously set in our commitment for a more diverse workforce. We aim for more female representation within leadership positions and are implementing specialized initiatives promoting our LGBTQI+ community.

Dedicated taskforces who contribute to the firm’s overall business strategies set substantive programs in direct connection with targeted measures and incentives for firm topics like succession planning, retention of key talent, coaching and mentoring and unconscious bias.

The Women in Business Law Awards 2021 Europe celebrates the efforts and achievements of law firms across Europe in helping women to advance in the legal profession and spotlight the most impressive achievements by women lawyers from work completed during the review period.  The awards aim to recognize not only the women who are leading their practice specialisms, but also those women who are the emerging talents in their respective fields.
