Manon Baur is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property, Data Protection, Life Sciences and Dispute Resolution practices in Geneva. She advises emerging businesses and creators, as well as established companies and international groups on a broad spectrum of intellectual property matters, with a focus on trademark and copyright. She has particular experience in fashion and luxury and also frequently assists actors in the literary and cultural sectors, and across the broader creative and commercial industries such as retail and hospitality. Her practice combines both advisory and contentious work and includes unfair competition matters.
Manon also has strong expertise in data protection law across a wide range of industries, including highly regulated sectors, and in the design and implementation of data protection compliance frameworks. Her work covers the drafting and review of key documentation – such as data processing agreements and policies – and representation before courts and authorities.
She also assists life sciences companies on interdisciplinary matters, both advisory and contentious, with a particular focus on regulatory issues.
Manon holds a Fashion Law Certificate from the Milano Fashion Institute and a Corporate Sustainability Certificate from NYU Stern School of Business. Manon is a graduate of the University of Geneva and is qualified to practice in Switzerland. She is fluent in French and English.
