Pietro Sansonetti is a Partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's Taxation Group in Geneva. He advises clients on all tax matters, both domestic and international.



  • He has in-depth knowledge of complex tax situations and extensive experience in dealing with tax authorities and enforcement matters including customs matters and international exchange of information
  • He is active in corporate matters, in particular reorganizations such as mergers and real estate transactions. He advises international official and  non-governmental organizations as well as non-profit entities, including pension funds 
  • He also works with individuals on family businesses, on partnership and private clients-related tax matters such as trusts and inheritance related issues as well as on tax litigation
